We handle the ground.
A booked flight tells you when you land. It does not tell you how you get from baggage claim to your hotel at 11 p.m. during a convention week. That part is ours — pre-arranged, quoted at a flat rate before you ride, and assigned to a named chauffeur who tracks your flight.
MSY arrivals and departures
Your chauffeur meets you at baggage claim on Level 1 with your name. Flights are tracked in real time, so a delay or an early landing moves the pickup automatically — no phone call, and no charge for the airline's delay.
MSY Airport Transportation → By the hourA car held for the day
For itineraries that change while they happen — meetings that run long, a dinner reservation across town, an evening where the last stop is undecided. The car and chauffeur stay with you.
Hourly Car Service → GroupsMore people than one car holds
Convention arrivals, wedding parties, cruise groups, incentive trips. Multiple vehicles moving on one coordinated schedule, booked as a single reservation.
Group Transportation →Pick the neighborhood before the hotel.
In New Orleans the neighborhood decides more than the room does — how far you are from your meetings, how loud the street is at 2 a.m., and whether a vehicle can actually reach your door. A short orientation before you book.
Central Business District
Walking distance to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, the Caesars Superdome, and most corporate offices. The default for business travel, and the easiest area for a car to pick up and drop off.
French Quarter
Closest to the restaurants and the music, and the hardest for vehicles. Several blocks are pedestrian-only or too narrow for a Sprinter, so pickups are often staged a block or two away. Worth knowing before you book a room on a one-way street.
Warehouse District
Galleries, newer hotels, and a quieter night than the Quarter, while still being a short drive from the Convention Center. A good compromise for travelers who want to walk to dinner but sleep.
Garden District and Uptown
Residential, green, and further out. Beautiful for a leisure stay; plan on a car for anything downtown, especially when St. Charles Avenue is closed for a parade.
Metairie and Kenner
Closest to Louis Armstrong International, which sits about 11 miles west of downtown in Kenner. Practical for an early departure or a one-night layover, less so if your week is downtown.
A note on timing
Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, French Quarter Fest, Essence Fest, the Sugar Bowl, and large conventions move hotel rates sharply and close streets across the city. If your dates land on one, book early and tell us — routing around closures is planning, not improvisation.
Questions about booking here.
Who am I actually booking my flight or hotel with?
+
Expedia Group. The search tool on this page is their booking widget. Your reservation, payment, confirmation, changes, cancellations, and customer service all go through Expedia Group under their terms. We do not process, hold, or have access to those bookings.
Does booking through this page cost me more?
+
No. You pay Expedia Group's standard rates. As an Expedia Group affiliate we may receive a commission on bookings made through this widget, which is paid by Expedia Group and not added to your price.
Can I book my car service at the same time?
+
Separately, and directly with us. Send your itinerary through the reservation page or call (877) 527-2888 with your dates, flight number, passenger and bag count, and pickup and drop-off points. New inquiries get an instant flat-rate quote.
My flight changed after I booked. What do I do?
+
For the flight itself, contact Expedia Group or the airline. For your ground transportation, nothing — we track the flight number on your reservation in real time and move the pickup with it. If the change is to a different flight or a different day, send us the new details so we can update the booking.
How far in advance should I reserve a car?
+
At least 24 hours for a standard booking, and considerably earlier for festival weeks, convention dates, and large group moves. Same-day and last-minute requests are handled case by case — call and we will tell you straight away whether it can be done.
Flights booked. Now the car.
